    Kowhai

Spring is well and truely up on us, and the brighter evenings and warmer days are making us yearn to be outside enjoying the beautiful country we live in.

Aotearoa is a land of beauty that is here to be explored and embraced. To fully appreciate the spectacular nature, getting a closer view is vital. That’s why we are lovers of binoculars and spotting scopes.

If you haven’t purchased your first spotter or set of binoculars yet then spring is the ideal time to get your hands on some.

We’ve got a whole range of binoculars and spotters on offer for all budgets and activities. Here’s some things that you’ll be able to see this spring:

    • Bird and animal life in your garden, walking in the bush or from a boat - getting too close to new born animals and recently hatched birds can be detrimental to their development and can risk scaring them off. Keep your distance and enjoy from afar.
    • Distant trees and flowers in bloom - spring is a fantastic time to enjoy magnolia and kowhai displays in residential areas
    • Boats, trains and planes - the calmer seas and clear skies allow you to get a closer look at spring boat races, and you’ll be able to have a good luck at aeroplanes on cloud free days
    • Distant views of landscapes - dark, damp winters days can hinder views of distant mountain ranges. Spring is great time to use binoculars or spotting scopes to immerse in the landscapes around you without having to travel for miles to get a closer look

With so much to see, it's time to get your hands on a new spotting scope or some binoculars now.
